It is our belief that drug addiction affects the entire family. Although treatment is essential for the individual struggling with addiction, successful recovery requires the whole system to experience healing. At times, an individual struggling with addiction may not be ready to participate in a treatment program. Therefore, we encourage families to attend our family program first and it is not unlikely for their addicted loved one to follow.
Family members are highly affected by the disease of addiction and heavily impacted by emotional and physical pain. Through helping family members heal from the impacts of addiction, we teach families how to begin taking care of themselves and the family system in a more healthy way. We offer family counseling services through psycho-education and group modalities.
